Infocomm lesson 4

In lesson four, I did more of the work than last time. I learnt about cascading style sheet and how it functions. This time, the work was easier as I was more familiar with html. But, it was still hard as I had to know the codes for the colours well. If I had anything I didn't understand, I looked it up on the internet. After a little experimentation, I managed to finish it together with my partner. But, I still had some things wrong, therefore, my partner had to help me refine it.

Infocomm lesson 3

In lesson three, we were introduced to html and learnt its basic structure. I partnered with my friend but did only a little of the work. I had trouble remembering the code structure and the html tags. I was also confused  about what the html tags were for. After a little hard work and experimentation, Iwas finally able to remember the structure and the html tags and completed the group work. But, my friend had already finished it by himself and submitted it.

Infocomm lesson 2

In the second lesson, we were supposed to post our views after watching a video. For me, I had to watch a video and discuss what I felt Lisa was trying to share about blogs and websites. Then, I had to compare them and decide which is best. From the video, I learnt many things about blogs and websites, like the differences between blogs and websites.For example, blogs are quick and easy to create but websites are not. For me, a blog is best as I just need a platform where I can put my own opinion but for others, websites may be better for them. People have different needs and it is up to them to choose whether blogs or websites are best for them.

Infocomm lesson 1

In the first lesson, I learnt about web 1.0 and 2.0. Before this, I didn't even know that what I was using was called web 2.0 and there was a web 1.0.After seeing the video and slides, I understood what was web 1.0 and 2.0 and their differences. I also found out where the internet came from and how it had grown. I also learnt a little about about how the internet works and about the world wide web. I feel it very interesting and I hope to gain more knowledge in future lessons.
